A pipe usually fails inside a wall cavity, which means the visible damage is only a fraction of what's actually happening behind the drywall.
We open the wall cavity carefully, only as far as moisture readings say is necessary, rather than tearing out an entire wall.
Stopping the water source is priority one before any extraction begins.
Our Hakalau, HI crews trace pressure loss to identify the failure point before opening drywall.
We open wall cavities in a controlled, targeted way based on documented moisture data.
Handoff to a licensed plumber is built into our burst pipe process, not left for you to arrange separately.
A burst pipe call has a specific sequence — find the source, stop it, open only what's necessary, and coordinate repair — here's how our Hakalau, HI crews run it.
If the source is still running, shutoff is priority one.
Diagnostics narrow down the exact wall section affected.
Wall cavity extraction addresses moisture a surface-level approach would miss.
We remove only the insulation and drywall sections that moisture readings confirm are compromised.
We dry wall framing directly, not just the room's ambient air.
Our Hakalau, HI team can refer or work alongside a plumber so mitigation and repair stay on the same timeline.
Tell our Hakalau, HI dispatcher if the water source is still running so we can advise on shutoff immediately.
Equipment for wall cavity work is brought along by default for burst pipe calls.
A pressure and moisture assessment comes before any wall opening.
We verify wall cavity moisture readings hit dry standard and confirm plumber repair is scheduled before closing the file.
"They found our shutoff valve in about thirty seconds since we had no idea it existed, then got straight to work on the wall." — Holly T.
"Only opened up the section of wall that was actually wet instead of the whole thing. Saved us a lot on drywall repair." — Andre L.
"They coordinated directly with our plumber so the pipe got fixed the same week the wall was already open." — Priscilla W.
We can confirm which you're dealing with during the initial assessment.
Only the compromised section comes out, not the full wall.
Pipe repair is handled by a licensed plumber we coordinate with, while we manage extraction and drying.
Avoid the area near standing water and electrical outlets until our technician confirms it's safe.
Wall cavity drying typically takes 3-5 days depending on how much insulation and framing was affected.
If your address is in or near Hakalau, a crew can typically respond the same day.
